"10 for 10 Challenge" Stories - Read About What God Has Done!
About a year ago, a Ridgewood member’s car was on its last legs. Her believing neighbor prayed at the time that God would provide her with a car in a year. She thought it rather strange that the request was for a year later but was so thankful for her neighbor’s prayer.
Almost a year later the member signed up for the “10 for 10 Challenge” and committed to tithe 10% of her income for 10 weeks. One year to the day that her neighbor prayed that God would provide a car, HE DID! She is so grateful and gives Him all the glory.
Even though budgets were tight for one of our Ridgewood families, they decided to take a step of faith and committed to the “10 for 10 Challenge”.
They submitted their tithe for the first week. They were surprised the very next day with an unexpected check for the same amount they tithed! They’re so grateful for God’s faithfulness. What a faith-builder for all of us!

As Christians, Why Should We Lead a Generous Life?
It’s God’s desire that we offer everything to him, so we can be free to know him better and have a more intimate relationship with him. It’s about discipleship. How we handle our finances is another way for us to express our love for God.
Your generosity pleases God. Becoming more and more generous will draw you closer to him, build your faith, and help move his Kingdom forward. It will also give you peace of mind because God will become your focus rather than temporal things. Material things disappear with the blink of an eye. God will always be there for you.
We're inviting you to an adventure called "10 for 10". We're asking you to take a step of faith and tithe 10% for 10 weeks. You see, this “10 for 10” challenge isn’t about what God wants from you. Rather, it’s about what he can do for you.
So many good things can happen in your life when you are willing to step out of your comfort zone. Now is the time to get to know Jesus better. Now is the time to free yourself from the clutches of this world. Now is the time to take a step of faith.
We started this challenge on the first of October and we're excited to hear and see what God does. Malachi 3:10
“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”
