Walking with Jesus to the Cross
Easter is only a few weeks away. So, we’ll step into the Gospel of John for a few weeks and walk with Jesus to the cross. Here is where the Lord’s substitutionary sufferings for the world begins.
Learning how we can stand firm, endure trials, say no to fear, love others well, and Impact the world for Christ in a hostile and changing culture.
Taking time to explore aspects of Jesus that are vitally important to our understanding of him. This is a time of year when people are talking about him. It’s a perfect time to develop a deep and truthful understanding of his ministry and personhood.
It takes courage to shine a light for Christ. Like Joshua’s bold leadership that led Israel into the Promised Land, we desire to exhibit the courage to Illuminate our city, overcome darkness, and Make Jesus Known Through Community Impact.
Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.
Breakthrough - Faith Beyond Sunday
Ridgewood Church will be breaking through in order to find new life outside of “just” attending church on Sunday. We desire that each person at Ridgewood finds new life wherever he/she lives out normal life experiences.
Key Passage: Psalm 107:13-16
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.
